Satin was a few years old when she came to us. She didn’t have ideal management in those growing years and is a fairly small girl though still within the breed standard. Where she lacks in size she makes up for in rear width and has a really nice mammary system. Unfortunately she’s just had a rough life. Survived a donkey attack during her 2021 pregnancy and is showing symptoms of having simple squamous carcinoma or has a photosensitive reaction to plants grazed during the summer months. She wasn’t handled as a kid and we still have some trust issues so she’s not a big fan of the milk stand. We know what she has to offer without pushing her too much. Hoping to get another daughter to retain before we let her retire to live out her days loving on her babies.
